Rumble in the Jungle 2 day tour.

If you want to have a great laugh, experience Vietnamese culture, be comfortable with travel. Also do some different things with trekking up a jungle stream, a seperate waterfall and nature experience. Then stay in a family homestay experience all that is hospitality of a lovely surrounding. Then book this full two day tour. Start from city of Vinh rice farm stop over.

Stopping whenever you like to purchase from families different taste experiences. Just a full two days of adventure. Our guide Andy and his assistant guide Harley were well spoken friendly, Harley was an exceptionally funny dude, young and energentic. Both of them could not do enough for us. We were the soldiers and they the commanders. The price of the tour was very reasonable for the time and effort that was put in. All meals included which was more food than we could eat. Coffee shop stops beer and anything else were so reasonable it just didnt matter. Comfortable bed for home stay hot hot shwr. Clean and very open stilt house which we were very comfy in. What more can I say. Just give it a try you will love it. Full days 7.30am start on first day to 9.30pm finish on second day. Street cafes breakfast first day. Chicken soup dinner last night. Thankyou boys for the experience the river swim was just great fun. Andy and Harley great guides. See you both in Australia some day soon.

    Great adventure!

We did the 2 day Pu Mat tour with our kids (11, 13 and 15). Andy was such a great guy to be with these two days! He explained a lot of all the new things we experienced. It is a full program but Andy is flexible enough to meet your family's wishes.

Although the girls were afraid of walking in the jungle (leeches!): Andy managed to push our kids (in a very positive way) step by step a little bit further. He even made me eat a fried grasshopper :-). If you have an active and adventurous family: this is your tour! Thanks again Andy and special thx from our son "the first soldier".

Vinh Guru took me where I wouldn't have come by myself

As a solo traveller I had a great experience with Vinh Guru Tours. Andy was our guide, a young person with lots of energy and a proper amount of humor. The thing with Andy was that he was enthusiastic in a way where it wasn't overdone like you often experience on arranged tours - it didn't feel forced nor childish.

He might have adjusted it on purpose to fit the audience of me (late 20's) and the other guest (late 30's). We were only two but that was just an occasion to ask many questions which he answered the best was possible. He could benefit from a few English Lessons but overall communication was good. On the 2D/1N tour I felt that we had to rush a little bit the first day, but second day was different. We were taken through local villages, rice fields, streams, waterfalls, over a wooden bridge, on a boat and at night we stayed at the loveliest home stay with home-cooked and delicious food. I wish though that we would be taken further into the jungle for some animal spotting, but we never saw any rare animals. Overall great value for money and planning a similar tour by yourself? I'd say impossible. Ps: We met only 2 other tourists on the entire trip so it's definitely off the beaten track! Best regards

    Vinh guru tour is amazing

I went on the 2day trip with my friend . We really enjoyed it! The waterfalls we visited were wonderfull. The Thai people we went to were very friendly and the food was delicious. We had a very nice stay there. They learned us a traditional dance, which was soo much fun.

The next day we went to their rice fields, and we went swimming in a little pool. In the afternoon we made a boat tour, very beautifull! The guides were very friendly, we had lots of fun with them.

    Wonderful experience! Truly authentic!

This was one truly one of the best experiences I've had in many years of travels. We did the two day Pù Mặt trip with Andy and Nha, and man did we have fun. They were friendly, conversational and all around a joy to travel with. You really get off the beaten path here - hiking, visiting locals and truly enjoying local culture.

The homestay was the most authentic travel experience I've had. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get off the beaten path and do something truly authentic!

Unforgettable Journey Off the Beaten Path with Locals

To say that I loved this trip would be an understatement. It was the warmest, friendliest, most engaging tour I've ever been on. From the minute we jumped on the private bus, the tour guides were enthusiastic to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed

After two days with this group, seeing some of the most beautiful scenery in Vietnam (and I've seen a lot!) with the energy of the tour guides never dropping, I can certainly say I will never forget this special weekend. A must-do for all ages. Don't miss this special experience if you're traveling in Vietnam!

Enjoying Nghe An province with nice people

I did travel 2 times with Vinh Guru. These young guys have good english, are funny and will make you feel comfortable. Plus, Nghe An province is such a nice area to visit... I like the way Vinh Guru is doing fair trade tourism.

1.5 Day PuMat Adventure on Motorbike

I wish I could have experienced more with this crew but am happy that I got to see more of the region before leaving Vinh. Even though it turned out to be a solo trip, I had a great time with the guide! The weekend consisted of a 3.5 hour ride on a back of a motorbike to the destination, a short hike through a stream to see a view of the rice fields, a fantastic dinner and stay at the Thai Family's Homestead, an hour tour on a riverboat, a short hike to a waterfall where we visited for another hour, a 3.5 hour return motorbike ride, and a friendly Vinh dinner

We even had a few short stops to visit the guides family. Definitely a must for the outdoor lover and we got lucky with the great weather! If there ever is a next time, we need to find more and longer hiking trails and a tent ;) Go for the experience, pack light, and bring a smile.

    Pu Mat tour: extraordinary experience

We took the excellent 2 day Pu Mat tour in August 2015 with our family (2 parents, 3 children ages 13,15 and 16), and had a really wonderful time. When booking the tour, they claimed this tour would be the absolute highlight of our 3 week Vietnam trip. We were a bit sceptical, but they were right !

If you really want to get off the beaten track in Vietnam, get into places were you're the only tourists, swim in paradise-like places, stay in a real home (as opposed to hotel-like 'homestays'), and all that accompanied by the most enthousiast tour guide team we've ever had, contact the guys of Ving Guru. Trip to Pu Mat National Park in Vietnam

This was a very user-friendly trip, with 2 guides for only 4 paying guests. During our 2-day trip we saw many interesting sites near the Lao border. We stayed overnight with an ethnic Thai family, which was really pleasant. Our host served a fabulous dinner, as well as breakfast the next morning. Being a national holiday, one of the places we visited was badly overcrowded, but that was unavoidable

Every other place we went was as quiet and peaceful as hoped for. The only real downside was the hike we took. It was short, steep and slippery, and not special in any way. A better choice should have been made. Our guides were great, acting more like friends than simply as guides. They were most pleasant in catering to our individual needs and wishes. I recommend them.

Amazing tours in Nghe An, Pu Mat and Vinh City

I did the 2 day Pu Mat tour and the 1 day Vinh and Around tour and was blown away by the incredible nature of this area. Pu Mat and Nghe An have incredible landscapes. Staying the night in a homestay and falling asleep to a chorus of wildlife along with swimming under a waterfall were two of my highlights.

Also did the 1 day Vinh and around tour and was fascinated by how much there is to learn and see in such an unassuming place. If you want to get off the beaten path and learn about an authentic Vietnamese city and province these are tours to go for.

    Caucau teafield island

We went in november to the teafields with micky and andy from vinhguru and it was great. First of all the organisation was really flexible and was able to make a personal tour. We were tired of driving the motorbike so asked to leave a little later and that was no problem.

Both the guides speak very good english (and thats special in vinh) and are very relaxed. They made pictures which they send afterwards. And they were really relaxed to talk with. They helped us with charging the simcard, getting nice food and the best part was that micky helped us getting shirts back from a hotel which were left behind from the laundry. He sent them to hanoi and i received them one day later, while i thought i would never see them again. If you go to vinh dont just skip it after one night. The environment of Vinh is still unspoiled and really worth a visit. It's really nice to book a tour with vinhguru and if you are as lucky as us, you meet micky and andy!

    Vinh and around tour

There is a lot more to Vinh than you think, overshadowed somewhat by Da Nang. The country side pristine, the people laid back, and hospitable not to mention the opportunity to visit the home village of Ho Chi Minh who had such an impact directly or indirectly on world history.

Most amazing travel experience of my life!

If you're seeking an authentic, non-touristy experience, this is the way to go. In all my travels, this was by far the most amazing experience I've logged. My buddy and I chose the 2 day option because the appeal of staying with a local tribal family was something we had never done anywhere in the world

It was a surreal and humbling experience. Andy and Nhen, our guides, were friendly, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable about their country. We were able to ask questions we could not ask anywhere else in Vietnam, and gain insight into their world that was invaluable. They picked us up in their personal vehicle, and along the way to Pu Mat stopped at multiple destinations so that we could see how the locals lived. First, they took us to a local vinh restaurant for a traditional eel soup breakfast...whixh was surprisingly good! Then, they stopped at a small village in the mountains to show us traditional tribal desserts. And finally they took us into Pu Mat for an amazing waterfall hike before arriving at the best part - the homestay. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! We were welcomed into the home of a local husband and wife, who cooked for us, shared their homemade rice wine, and opened their home so that we felt as if we lived there. It was the most authentic and humbling travel experience of my life. The next day, we were guided up a river and I to a jungle that so few tourists see that we needed to stop at a local Vietnamese army checkpoint just to gain approval to venture I to this protected jungle. It was beautiful and untouched, the type of off the beaten path experience that is almost impossible to find anymore. Finally, after catering to our needs for 2 days, they took us to a local street food locale back in Vinh before going over the top and Taki g us to the train station, where we had an overnight train to Danang booked. I cannot speak enough about this experience it, I will forever cherish it. THANK YOU Andy, Nhen, and VinhGuru for giving me the type experience I always envision but rarely find when traveling the world. I recommend you to the world!

    Ho Chi Minh Homeland

We got picked up by Andy!!!!! A young, wonderful, energetic person, who spend 5 years in his life living in the U.K.!!! His interest in history is amazing. Andy is a very pleasant person to have a conversation with and also to listen too. We had a great day with him as our tour guide. We booked a private tour with him as our tour guide and even met his wonderful family

He took the time to give us enough rest between the different visits, as it was very hot that day!! Andy is a very kind person, who kindly offered us a free trip to the train station next day. Overall it was just a very wonderful, interesting experience for us. You will not regret having him as a tour guide!! We found the Ho Chi Minh homeland tour a must see, if you are in the neighborhood of Vinh city. All the best and kind regards, Ed and Sophie, Hanoi!!!

Interesting sightseen tour of Vinh and surroundings

I stayed at the Vinh for just one day and I wanted to see the birthplace of Hồ Chí Min and panoramic tour, so I took the afternoon half-day tour of Vinh and the surroundings. We visited the birthplace of Hồ Chí Minh, and his mother's bà Hoàng Thị Loan tomb. There the city is scenic and quiet look. We also stopped at a beautiful Lam River embankment. And walked along the Hồ Chí Minh Square at the end. I could do a lot of good photos.

Dinner was delicious in the welcoming cafe. It was a very exciting trip. Nga fascinatingly tells the history of these places. She good drives motorbike in this crazy traffic and around I saw spectacular views of the local villages. She is pleasant companion and friend. With her interesting talk on a variety of topics. We had enjoyable talk about life in our countries and language difficulties. This trip is especially memorable, and has become one of the best tour among others taken me in Vietnam. I think the tour is well thought-out so recommend it for those who going to visit Vinh
